We Are Building Our Foundation Together!

Relationship Status: Married 7 yrs We Courted long distance for 3 yrs so we've been building our foundation together for 10 yrs and counting!

How did you meet? We met via an online dating site.

What has been your greatest challenge and success as a couple thus far?
We can both agree that this one word sums it up: "Transition". My wife moved to live with me in another city literally the day after we married, started a job 4 days later (so no honeymoon), and 9 months later we relocated from the South to the East Coast. So early on transitioning taught us a lot about ourselves, each other, and it has also brought us closer because we only had each other to depend on as we navigated our new environment which by the way was new to her as I had lived in the area prior.

FAITH

One thing most couples lean on in their relationship is their Faith. Having a common belief system creates a comfort and trust that can enhance and strengthen your foundation. There is something about a couple coming together in agreement to Pray that can deepen their bond together.

LOVE

Love is a choice not something you fall into. We decide who we love. In a relationship it's one of the greatest emotions there is but it's not perfect. Once love is experienced, we truly find out how powerful that 4 letter word is and why its necessary as we build our foundation.

1Corinthians 13:4-5

DREAMS

The last foundational principle is Dreams. Dreaming together is important and very beneficial in a relationship. Supporting each others dreams and creating a "Dream Plan" together allows you to not only bond but helps you grow as a couple. The only thing left to do is to put them into action!
